[PBCC] Xiaomi 10.000mAh “Powerbank 2” with QC2.0

Banggood was once again nice enough to send me another powerbank to put through the wringer. This time they sent me a Xiaomi 10.000mAh “Powerbank 2” with QC2.0 to test. Thanks Banggood!

The casing is made from extruded and dark anodised aluminium, as we have come to expect from Xiaomi. It’s just a little bit bigger than the old 5000mAh model.

Or about the same size as the Mi Pro powerbank, with Type-C

Performance 5V - Discharge cycle 2A

A total discharge, using a 5V/2A ledstrip resulted in a capacity of 32,82Wh (6484mAh)

But after reading a colleague’s reviews (hat tip to will34 @ BLF!) I also ran a discharge test using a 1A load, just for shits & giggles.

The whole Xiaomi family :)
Conclusion
Once again Xiaomi has put out an impressive powerbank, which performs on par with it’s older brother, the Mi Pro and outperforms most 18650-based powerbanks. These LiPo-pack based powerbanks sure pack a lot of energy into a small package. I was very impressed with the performance at 5V/1A!
I can’t but recommend this powerbank, it’s nicely priced, fits nicely into pockets and looks good too.
If you don’t really need Type-C, this may be the powerbank for you.
